By day, Deco-fabulous café serves pastries and great roast pork and haloumi sandwich. Food waits increase with the crowds, so hold off until the post-lunch rush. After hours, owner Monica Contantinides' retro-boho spot turns up the thermostat. Astorian hotties with unpronounceable names nudge and nestle with outer-borough scenesters. Drink enough vodka and the Lucite chairs feel comfortable. Almost. Order munchies before the kitchen closes at midnight.
