A 50's-themed blue-plater in the heart of Santa Monica. Prides itself on being kid-friendly, so, you know what that means: you'll have a side of screaming children with that chicken-fried steak, hold the sugar, or Ritilian, or whatever the kids are on these days (Ed: Glue?). Good for groups, private parties, but really, you're on the family scene, and the food—while it has its devotees—is nothing to write home about, unless you're into nostalgia for the days when deep-friers were considered culinary innovation.
