Tiergarten, Berlin's sprawling public park spotted with topless sunbathers, shameless cruisers, hopelessly lost tourists and nature loving locals, also has a restaurant. And it's worth finding, if you can. Perched lakeside with patio seating in beer garden fashion, cuisine takes traditional Bavarian form in shape of sausage, pretzels and roast pork, with basic faves like pizza to keep tourist kids from crying. Best in summer after dark when candle-lit tables up the romance factor under starry skies.
