The most recognized venue in Ibiza , Café del Mar has been around since 1978 chosen for its location with the best sunsets looking towards the island of Conejera. Perfect background music was needed to fit the experience and thus a recording franchise was born. Thanks to renowned Catalan architect Luis Güell the café lounge's outrageous baroque design has garnered as much fame as the sunset or the music by artists such as Underworld, Sabres of Paradise, A man called Adam, Nightmares on Wax and William Orbit.
