Caffe Trieste

Editorial Review

Half a century of bohemian history endows this coffeehouse with undeniable cred. Papa Gianni came over from the old country in 1951, kids and grandkids carry on tradition of brewing espresso that would make the Corleones proud. Packs them in come Saturday afternoons, when the entire Giotta clan pulls a von Trapp and warbles opera and show tune classics while you get a parking ticket. Make you proud to be a San Franciscan.
