A place to drop off your good ol' boy cousin in town who wants to squeeze in a few college basketball games while you take his girlfriend to Michigan Ave. He's got two-and-a-half floors to wander around, all while drinking draft beers and ordering off of the heavy menu. For an Irish pub, the food is hardly Irish. We're talking standard burgers and wings and sandwiches here, but maybe he'll feel risky and go for the bacon-wrapped shrimp. The dark wood and brass look good, and the suede booths are a nice touch. Servers dress in an Irish Mafia motif, which can be either embarrassing or hot (dependinng on your server). Bullshit: No free refills on soda.
