Created and located in Los Echo Park's American Apparel, a vintage store for the young Hollywood who don't have the time between auditions and acting the part of a scenester to be a vintage digger. Beneath florescent lights and pop music hang handpicked vintage clothes mixed with the occasional AA sack dress and legwarmers. Despite the cute vintage clothes and upbeat pop music, Select feels like a poser. It's that guy claiming to be a biker but really rides a Vespa. Corporation vintage clothing chain is an oxymoron and vintage shops belong to the small business owner not to a bunch of suits.
