Can Xuxu finca is a beautifully restored 19th century mansion, the pool is heavenly, the rooms gorgeous and open out to a communal terrace with plump comfy chill-out sofas, Alexandre, the owner is a quintessentially perfect gentleman who makes you feel at home and can help book tables, boat trips, on-site massages etc. No wifi but you can check out the local bar Raco Verd opposite the church in San José village and they have wi-fi (if signal is weak try the seats nearest the bar). An honesty bar with beers and juices for pool side drinks is a nice touch and ipod ports in rooms can be hooked up to embedded speakers.
