Newly re-opened after a dining room makeover with a new master at the helm. Paris-trained Martin San Roman is one of Mexico's most highly acclaimed celeb chefs, and he brings his Mexican/French Fusion cuisine from Baja to San Diego. Don't expect tacos and enchiladas, dishes like fresh sea bass on an olive tapenade, or shrimp on a crust of ancho chile, molasses, and coffee with a light mango and ginger beurre blanc sauce are much more his style. Substantial wine list from California, Mexico, Spain, Chile and Argentina. The lounge has a room and life of its on, adjacent to the restaurant, and DJ's keep the energy level mega high.
