Thanks Stanford White, for making the illest event space downtown by a mile. And for doing it in 1893, and throwing in those nifty Corinthian columns, hooking up some gold trim, and all those little nooks to act the fool in utter splendor. And nice ballroom, dude. This spot rules for a swank soiree but it rules extra hard for the shady amateur boxing nights, a wonderful excuse to see blood unprofessionally spilled by aspiring pugilists in a place swank enough for a Bond flick.
