It's a rite of passage before ascending to superstardom for every indie band in town: jamming 100 of their closest friends into this ramshackle space. A weird hippie/hipster amalgam of music venue/raunchy bar/veggie café/hotel/art gallery. Just avoid the 'spoken word' nights. Surprisingly tasty nosh, like the Boccolicious sandwich (bocconcini, grilled red peppers, pear, tomato and lettuce) is served up with hot cups of café-au-lait or cheap local draft beer.
