One of those modern-Aztec pyramid mid-range dealies, but with some touches we're fond of. Tons of funky art, strange chilling nooks with fountains, and a hatchback pool that is half-covered with a slatted roof. While our teenage posse trips out, we check into rooms that are levels beyond the comfort of some of Cozumel's cheaper places. You'll sleep well here and rooms have everything you need, but try to get the coveted sea-view/street-view suites so you can harrass other tourists then whip your head towards the sea nonchalantly. Eat a hearty daily breakfast on the terrace before you go crazy at the Tomb of Caracal.
