Get the swim-up bar without dishing up triple digit dollars. For the low-coast traveler who hates Squid Roe and might actually speak a little Spanish. This cozy B&B has rooms with kitchenettes and cooking gear, colorful walls and garden touches, plus a charming little pool surrounded by bougainvilla. Feels like going local, with Mexican flavor, not corporate chain floruishes in a neighborhood setting a short walk from the drunken tourist action. Might not be a floor show with fire swallowers, but you can move in and drink beers by the pool without ever being asked to leave.
