Editorial Review

Authentic Mexican food (or at least Cali-Mex) is hard to come by on the East Coast, but this Brooklyn establishment could hold its own against an L.A. taqueria any day of the week. Those in the know return to Castro's again and again for $2 soft chicken tacos washed down with a Corona or Jarritos (undeniably one of life's greatest pleasures). Friendly, fast waiters serve enormous burritos and never-ending sides of tortilla chips, ensuring you won't leave hungry.
