Del Posto grad Kevin Garcia steps in to replace former chef Tom Valenti and brings bold Southern Italian. Garcia shows appropriate reverence for menu faves like vegetable fritto misto, but adds his own two cents with thrillers like spicy, mint-tinged octopus salad and divine hazelnut parfait. Fun, older, local scene clogs up oak-table bar area. Mellowed-out tables in the back serve as stages for lovely grilled sardines, lamb shanks, pastas.
