Chalkboard

Editorial Review

Chef-owner Gilbert Langlois, ventured out on his own last winter with Chalkboard. From duck cassoulet with white beans to seared scallops with celery root purée, a list of eight-to-12 seasonal limited selection of items appear on a chalkboard daily, while a list of comfort-food items, from fried chicken with buttermilk mashed potatoes to pork tenderloin with apple cider creamed corn are staples. Great daily-changing global wine list and comfortable, Victorian-chic setting.
