Malibu is short on anything to eat or do off-beach, especially after institution Allegria shut down to tears and gnashings. Now? Shoes necessary. Friendly, but moderately upscale. Various cuts of meat are highlights on the menu, and pizza, pasta and fish round it out. As with most beach joints, the huge glass windows oceanside are a pull.
