Editorial Review

The secret can run, but only for so long in those heels. Balaz and Vong disciple Mohammed Islam (not touching that) serve up a clandestine country-style setting in the 1929 hillside mansion of much ballyhooed debauchery. Rockstar vibe still rampant among chef's creations, shrimp tempura, light chestnut-ricotta ravioli, and seasonal adaptations. Even the best bites are high-class bar food, greasy but gourmet. Perfect to wash down with the record company's free gift of Bollie. Great burgers!
