Editorial Review

Tried and true, pre-theatre, business dinner favorite in Federal Triangle. Dark glass windows and perky signage hidden beneath canyon of layered office buildings on Pennsylvania Ave. Buttery matte walls offset by cabernet-colored trim, prim white linen and spotless brandy snifters. Menu is Boston Legal courting clients versus Martha's Vineyard clambake with parsley garnish. If you're under 30, your boss takes you for dinner and you've arrived—if you're over 40, somebody's having a birthday with champagne.
