Chez Jay

Editorial Review

A pirate enters the bar with a ship's wheel sticking out of his pants...no wait, it's David Cross, getting fucked up in this legendary, saw-dusted, jukin' n' jivin', surf bandit vibed dive. Low-key celeb and local hero roadhouse evokes Cali's carefree 60's. Small sandy house with tried, true regulars. Owner Jay is a living icon; don't diss his banana potatoes, butter steak, or cheesecake, which are all quite good. His peanuts have even gone to space.
