The best part about eating on the refurbished Sai Kung Waterfront Promenade is when you stare down at the tiny sampans in the water below, each boat with little red, green and blue plastic buckets of all different types of seafood in them. It's like touring a makeshift aquarium. The food here is identical to the similar seaside restaurants on Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, Lei Yue Mun, Mui Wo and Aberdeen (don't bother knowing all those places) but is slightly more expensive, because Sai Kung is a popular launchpad for junk trips, beach runs and countryside hikes. All the usual suspects are here: scallops, lobsters, mantis shrimp (or, as the Cantonese call them, pissing shrimp), grouper, clams and abalone.
