Brand new Palermo Hollywood outpost of city´s top ice cream chain is so delicious, it was broken into by brazen, ice cream hungry thieves literally the day after it opened. And during a cold spell in winter, no less. This opening is significant not only because Chungo´s creamy ice cream stands above the rest like Freddo and Persicco and Volta - it does - but because there weren´t any legit ice cream joints in Palermo Hollywood when you wanted them. Which is usually after leaving dinner at one of the excellent resto´s or stumblng around blitzed after too many cocktails at, say, nearby Green Bamboo. Either way, the snazzy new corner heladeria is a welcome addition to this helado deprived hood.
