Editorial Review

Known for his house-made pastas, customer greetings and BYOB policy, Chef-owner Cesar Pineda (Ravenswood's Caro Mio) has opened up Ciao Amore in the heart of Pilsen, dishing ricotta-stuffed gnocchi, lobster ravioli in spicy arrabiata sauce, and a mushroom porcini sauce that has the historically Mexican neighborhood ready to crown an Italian king. Inside you'll find an unassuming crowd in collared shirts and polished shoes, and an interior of exposed brick walls, local rotating art, a tin ceiling and enough natural light in the dining room for a garden of basil.
