Bourdain's buddy Chef Pino Posteraro is a dedicated, decorated seducer of Yaletown's most sophisticated palates, mixing Mediterranean with local, coaxing together eclectic flavors and textures that suddenly can't seem to live without each other, like scallops, pineapple and pureed almonds. From butternut squash to beef cheeks, pasta couldn't be more perfect, but pretty much everything is, including gracious, first-class service whether in bottle-lined private dining rooms, adjacent Enoteca or business casual patio. Jaw-dropping 60-page wine list, and some terrific values by-the-glass.
