City Tavern

Editorial Review

The most relaxed and least annoying of the so-called “triangle bars” (Eastside West and Balboa Café being the other two corners), with come-as-you-are vibe, people-watching windows, and reasonably priced drinks. Civilized sports bar, aside from the occasional Sloppy Joe and his belligerent girlfriend—they should have been cut off a few rounds back. There's a back bar if the main bar gets too close for comfort. $2 Tuesdays the best deal in town.
