Claremont

Editorial Review

Just beyond the hoity-toity stretch of Westmount on Sherbrooke Street is a chill resto-lounge packed with well-coiffed thirty-somethings looking for love, cocktails and, juicy grilled salmon. Just ask cutie co-owner, Patrick what to eat and drink. He's got it going on when it comes to bevvies and bites. The hockey game's always on behind the bar, with the volume off so the cute bartender can play DJ. Tunes by Arcade Fire, Rufus Wainwright and Chromeo swirl around the candlelit booths in crimson and mahogany. Tableaux by local artists add colour to the walls. A tad artsy-fartsy and totally unpretentious.
