UCLA students take time off drinking all they can for all-you-can-eat lunch buffet sans silk tapestries and multi-armed statues. The less ravenous enjoy reasonably priced, clever takes on traditional Desi dishes at this active, friendly and sleek South Asian staple. Less Artesia Blvd., more West Hollywood. Samosas, dosas, delicious tandoori sea bass, formerly worshipped steak and perfectly spiced curries. Doesn't always pay to stray from your strict Hindu upbringing. Stick to veggie curries.
