Older manmade jazz spot named for oldest manmade object in Central Park. Comfy front barroom and back dining space, with low stage in the middle. Medi eats nothing to text home about, but kebabs and couscous will keep you fortified through the next set. Music is indeed the main draw, of the open mic and jam-night ilk. Keep the clinking of silverware to a minimum, thank you.
