Newly renovated, so ye olde outdated vibe is gone. What’s left: killer ocean view, crowd of bluehairs and slack-jawed tourists in sandals hoping for sea lion sightings. Dine at Sutro’s if grandma’s paying, or burgers and crab cakes at the bistro if you’re on your own dime. Stick to lunch, early sunset dinner, or classic Sunday brunch. Tip: It's all about the view, so forgo if foggy and head to the nearby Beach Chalet instead.
