Set in the Liberty Hotel, a historical building that has the imposing stature of mid 19th century jail (oh right, that’s what it was) Clink has certainly got a portion of the Boston nightlife scene on lockdown. (See what we did there?). Plopped in the middle of the hotel’s resplendent lobby, where towering ceilings give a sense of grandeur, it’s alternately a luxurious bar with sophisticated patrons, or a one note bad joke where prides of silver lions graze over martinis. In the restaurant space you can even squeeze into an old jail cell for dinner. No word on how many packs of smokes you’d have to trade for the pricey cocktails.
