Getting the jitters from one-too-many lattés is pretty much a requisite. This once private Italian social club was opened to the public fifteen years ago. Corner tables remain occupied by men from the old country while pretty young thangs in 70's shades suck back Mini-me's on the tree-covered terrace. The gab flows as fast and furious as the espresso machine. No overabundance of angst-ridden artists scribbling in journals. No shortage of rich, dark coffees or capicolli paninis. Quite possibly the best place in town to get a buzz on.
