The name will be familiar to American city-dwellers, as the ubiquitous chain licensed its name from this original shop. Cosi Paris isn't part of any franchise, though, unless you count ties to the wine bar across the street. Its short menu of meat and vegetarian sandwiches, all made with hot, crusty signature bread, use excellent ingredients in simple combinations. The blue cheese, apple, and walnut sandwich is decadent and rich, while the bellota-ricotta combo is surprisingly light. Great, quick lunch near the Latin Quarter and Lux Garden. Less than €10. Open every day.
