Cosmopolitan Hotel

Editorial Review

Call it zen, call it nirvana, call it dharma. Whatever it is, it's clear the designers of this 97-suite downtown hotel went all oriental on its ass. The Zen-like Shizen spa has room for a small monestary of twelve, floor to ceiling glass walls, and Brazilian oak deck flooring. Fine, so it's not all Asian. A restaurant on premises is a wino's dream, headed by master Sommelier Zoltan Szabo, and sporting "cult" and "cutting edge wines. Floors are sparse with five rooms each, and each comes with a meditation mat for maximum zen-out capabilities.
