The good thing about staying at the Courtyard is that you know exactly what you're going to get, the bad thing is you know exactly what you're going to get. Nothing spectacular, nothing horrendous, standard corporate hotel fare, pleasant indoor pool, speedy valet parking, close enough to everything without being on top of everything. It may be plain vanilla, but at least it's Häagen-Dazs vanilla.
