Covent Garden Hotel

Editorial Review

Located in Seven Dials, a two-block, low-rise slice of the Village in London, with renowned café Monmouth down the block and erotic shop Coco de Mer across the street. Terra-cotta stone facade and a lounge with lots of floral and check paatterns.Fifty-eight high-ceilinged rooms, each with a dressmaker dummies decked in a striking flock print. Belongs to the Firmdale chain (i.e., owners of Manhattan's Crosby Street Hotel), and American theatergoers tend to make up most of the guests. Cult movies shown weekly in its leather-seated screening room, with dinner served from the hotel's Brasserie Max (which featured in Match Point). The Junior Loft Suite is tops, with beamed ceilings and rooftop views.
