Foodies have been flocking to “Top Chef” judge Tom Colicchio’s dining destination since it opened in late ’08. Things are fancier upstairs with treats like black grouper, and braised beef short rib and root veggies. Others mosey downstairs to Craftbar’s open kitchen where slightly lower prices are tagged to the likes of entrees and small plates including grilled oysters and smoked chicken wings. Colicchio’s cred makes for crowds and the 225 seats fill fast.
