Baby sister of Top Chef deity Tom Colicchio's Craft conjures up bar snacks and a quick, informal lunch for patrons too busy for resies and palates too particular for Good Burger down the street. Seasonal menus indulge in complex flavors fused into simple food: starters like braised artichokes with mint, or a pork, beet greens, and cheddar sandwich should be enough to hold you over through the workday. Convenient Union Square locale drives lunch rush warriors in hordes, though. After work sips and eats best bet, but Craft-y brunch menu isn't to be ignored, either.
