While plenty of nuevo latino places are content to lean on threadbare reliables like margaritas and Frida Kahlo paintings, Cuatro leads with its menu instead. They offer no weathered photos of Pancho Villa or revolutionary slogans but their Coctel Vuelve a La Vida could make the hardest Zapatista well up in tears: A loving mound of purple-red ahi tuna, baby octopus, squid and seared shrimp laced with pico de gallo, avocado and a light cocktail sauce. Live DJs and bands play Thursday through Sundays, when Cuatro stays open till 2AM.
