Hard to imagine that a restaurant named Cul de Poule is one of the season's hottest openings. But(t) it's true - this small hole in the wall is packing them in every night. Cul is the fourth address from the man (Yannig Samot) who wetted up the fooding crowd with La Famille, Le Chéri Bibi and Le Réfectoire. The formula this time is good wine, pedigreed ingredients, and high school cafeteria chairs. The kitchen closes around 11 P.M., but plates of charcuterie and cheese are on offer until 1 A.M.
