Even Rocco had to start somewhere. Dine on creations of wannabe chefs in cavernous, antiseptic dining room with production kitchens in full swing. So the ambience is kinda like a Vegas buffet, and the dishes are inconsistent. But hey, it’s cheaper than you’d get elsewhere (slow braised maple syrup short ribs for only $15 bucks!), the ingredient quality is top-notch, and you’re helping the rookie effort. Grand Buffet Fridays are a fat man’s fantasy.
