Custom House Tavern

Editorial Review

Chef Aaron Deal has replaced Shawn McClain in the kitchen here, bringing with him Southern charm and ingenuity. Dishes like Rabbit Sausage with Sea Island Red Peas or Artic Char with Brown Butter and Marcona Almonds offer a lightness and versatility lacking in the former menu. (Don't miss Deal's take on the caesar with escarole and anchovies.) Suited-up locals and their glamorous dates mix it up with suburbanites and traveling business people.
