Don't go for the food; anything beyond a steak will leave you sorely disappointed. But the atmosphere: what a mid-century dream! Faux-Gaugin murals on every wall behind giant tanks full of tropical fish. Lights always kept low: perfect for a sunny Sunday morning when miserably drowning your sorrows is top pirority. Come to write your masterpiece, stay for the decent conversation. Fuel up with Chi-Chis, the mystery house drink with "coconut sauce," whatever that is.
