Danny's used to be set up like an old apartment building replete with antique kitchen and bathrooms. Then they remodeled, closed off the upstairs, the rooms got bigger, and the assholes showed up. Some of the smoky indie-rock charm remains weeknights, especially if you're sitting in one of the remaining dark alcoves in the back. You'll still hear great DJs playing stuff you'd never hear anywhere else, but steer clear on weekends.
