Currently in its third incarnation and devoted to monochromatic designer menswear of the most exquisite caliber. Adopted Comme des Garçon's Guerrilla Store tactic, relocating annually. Black-leather dog tags, hooded mesh wraps and signature "bondage belts" by Julius, sculptural "bomber jackets" and delicate knits by Damir Doma and the The Viridi-anne's urban "Ninja Jersey" constitute some choice labels of international repute. As epilogue to Toronto's cult boutique Komakino, Darklands aptly reflects Berlin's characteristic, sinister style and pervasive fixation on the color black.
