It all seems very Mr. Drummond and proper and Park Avenue fancy until David Burke breaks out the wizard hat and whips up stuff that doesn't look like what it is and pretty much always tastes sublime. Pretzel-crusted crab cakes, foie gras lollipops, and a wine list to break Lehman Brothers if it weren't already broken. Milkshake and cookies for dessert. Modern design with contemporary art, chandeliers, overall intimate townhouse feel. Splashes of red embolden, jack the love meter away from cold fish and toward inferno.
