Editorial Review

A little something lost in the translation to Brooklyn. Beloved East Village (and Big Easy) beer joint not getting quite the same traction with Billyberg crew. Space is bigger than the original, but not layered with the same history, so still waiting on additional character. Not overrun, which is always a plus, and has the same strong selection. Well-curated craft brews, hand-pulled options, single malts, bourbons. Good backyard like its Manhattan forebear, too.
