Crispy, thin-crust, New York-style pizza pies are damn near impossible find in Seattle. But Delancy owner Brandon Pettit wants to change all that. The 27-year-old chef hasn't even opened his first pizzeria yet and he's already amassed 1,400 swooning twitter fans. This is partly because his girfriend is Orangette - the Seattle food-blogger turned bestseller whose "A Homemade Life" details their relationship - and partly because he's cute and knows how to talk about cheese. Orangette's been posting construction photos (check out the minimalist lighting) and the two are angling for an early August opening. We're already hungrily awaiting Brandon's New York pizza intervention.
