Majestic Deco pawn shop reborn as clubby modern American spot. Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on (yes, it’s inspired by that Desmond). Domed ceiling above powder-gray walls, lush banquettes. Cougar-friendly zebra patterns in the bathrooms. Food pairs local ingredients with Euro sophistication. Duck egg frisée salad, salmon with lentils, and foie gras. Brit owners, so no surprise to see Dover sole and Beef Wellington making the cut. Working fireplace on the upstairs mezzanine for more intimate interludes.
