George Abou-Daoud owns The Bowery, Delancey, Mission Cantina...places that look pretty and attract pretty people. This one is about the food. Chef Kris Morningstar is a local celeb, and he's working with his twist on old-timey businessman food. Semolina gnocchi with kidney sauce, sea urchin gratin with bay scallops, sunchokes and mushrooms. Duck fat Yorkshire puddings. Big cocktails. All against a backdrop of mahogany and iron.
