Started life as a downtown gourmet cart with “sausage system” imported from Europe (insert off-color joke here). Local menu help from Employees Only chef Jeremy Spector. Old Mandler’s space tiny, but majorly upgraded with haute tubed lights, modular seating, glass doors swinging out over the sidewalk. Savory sausages from several animals served in artisanal baguettes toasted from within by spearing on grill spikes. Add choice of creamy sauce and voilà, total hotdog bliss without the mess. Asparagus spears for vegetarian buzzkills.
